Our guide, Lyle, gave an excellent overview of wind power and the developing technology, then a bus tour through the Wind Farm a well as to a local view point was great. Closing with a free date shake capped the afternoon.

After driving past the wind farm multiple times, this tour certainly satisfied our curiosity. Lyle's presentation was so thorough, most questions were answered before being asked. This was a very interesting and informative tour. It is a 2 hour guided tour and not for younger children in my opinion. The tour leader was fabulous. We learned the history of the different wind turbines, the history of the land and about the indrustry...More

Very informative tour led by Kyle. He was masterful with summarizing the complex and dynamic topic of wind energy. His talk walked us through the lay principals of how the turbines work, then through the evolution of the technology. He brought it all to life...More

Per the prior answer on restrooms at start and stop of tour, realize that the stop for the date shakes is toward the end of the tour, so plan accordingly.
