Had a nice hike at the Andreas Canyon followed by a leisurely picnic in their shaded picnic area. It was a photographer's dream with unique rock formations, the creek and beautiful palms all along the path.

A very well run park, great diversity. A bird lovers, and or photographers paradise. Take the longer hikes, they are less busy. The rangers are very informative and polite. If you like the outdoors and hiking, do this park over two or three days, it's...More

Very interesting. Was epecially fun to visit with the Park Rangers by the Snack Bar parking area. Would recommend any of the hiking trails. Bit spendy at $9 per person entrance fee.

Do all the hikes! They are all beautiful. Murray Canyon is a fun little challenge with all the stream crossings and was my favourite.

Nice place for a hike or picnic. A cool oasis in the desert and quite a change from the surrounding area. Worth the trip if you have the time.

We stayed across the road from this golf course. Ate breakfast before golf and lunch after. Food was excellent as was the golf. Definitely will go back.

We checked this out during our visit to palm springs, and we were glad we did. There's a really cool waterfall just a 4 minute walk from the visitor center. We got a huge kick out of the many active hummingbirds around the visitor center...More

Yes. But call ahead to time your arrival when a group is being formed.
People have told me there are different lengths of hikes. There was mention of waterfalls. If I wanted to hike to the waterfalls how long will I need. Your hours are 8-5 correct?

We didn't go that far to see the falls. There are several hikes you can take. I'm not sure of the hours they are open. I'm sorry I don't remember. It is well worth your time to hike here. Have fun!
