The place to meet new friends is at this old-fashioned street fair with sidewalk performers, musicians, farmer's market, gifts and lots of food.

Go hungry because there are a bunch of food stands. Great night out for a walk and a good place to pick up a few souvenirs. It is very busy so go early for free parking.

A lovely event on Thursday evening. Lots of interesting crafts, jewelry, clothing, and food. It’s fun to people and dog watch as you stroll along the street. All of the shops and restaurants are open as well. There is something for everyone.

Disappointing experience last week at Village Fest. Mostly low-quality, over-priced prepared foods, goods and "art work". Parking is a problem, and the crowds were a bit overwhelming for a small town. The street was kinda dark, and one patron stumbled on a curb or sidewalk....More

While it was fun to mingle with the crowds, the offerings were of low quality and mostly overpriced.

Every Thursday night from sundown this event closes the main streets for six blocks and local vendors line the streets selling fresh food and crafts. Lots of fun and I love buying the multiple choices of Pistachios.

Lots of great "motels" with tons of character. You'll get the real feel of Palm Springs at any of them. If you want higher end, the Hyatt is there but I'd try the local ones instead.
