Great fun. Front desk at our resort recommended checking out Village Fest. So glad we took their advice. Lots of food, art, jewelry, crafts & artisans. Was a great intro to the area on our first night.

Best way to spend Thursday night in Palm Springs. Come out and see the artisans and enjoy the wonderful food. I only wish that some of the restaurants would have booths with small tastes from their restaurants. Note that during the winter months there are...More

We just happened upon this while visiting Palm Springs, and it was a fun filled evening wandering around several blocks of downtown Palm Springs, closed for traffic and filled on both side with vendors of every kind. Many good street food options and craft vendors,...More

Despite the heat, fun fest to walk around and enjoy the wares. Lot's of funky artwork and little tchachkies.

Had hoped that the village fest would have had a little more buzz about it. However, credit to all the stall holders - it certainly made the night a little more interesting and down town Palm Springs a little more alive at night!

Sure it is better when not so hot, but only 1 performer (who was not real good) and not many people there. We did have the best taco ever from a taco truck.

Lots of great "motels" with tons of character. You'll get the real feel of Palm Springs at any of them. If you want higher end, the Hyatt is there but I'd try the local ones instead.

I've actually never made it down to VillageFest before 6-7 in the evening. I'm not sure how late it usually runs, but I don't recall ever staying past 9-9:30. I'm only there once a year, so checking the website for specific... More
