We have done cerious hikes here over the last few years and have always enjoyed them. The hike to the oasis is a fairly easy hike which can be done with young children.

Very interesting ecosystem with knowledgeable docents and tours. Visitors' Center is rustic and small. Bring your own water --just easier that way. Can be very hot which makes a normally easy walk a trying trek.

I've been here twice. It's such a fun place to visit when you're in the vicinity. It's almost like you've went far, far away from civilization. Great place for a light hike, and perfect for families! The visitor center is so cool and informative also! Wonderful people working there!

This is a great place to go walking! The trails are well maintained, and there is no liter anywhere. The palm trees are impressive and a sight to see! I highly recommend visiting Coachella Valley.

This wet area in the desert is interesting but it is not that close to Palm Springs. We drove many miles out of the way and expected much more based on these tripadvisor ratings.

There is a a few places that are nice and kept up. Other places are scattered with trash and not kept up. The trails are easy to pass through and offers some good areas to see some desert views.

This was a very enjoyable visit for our whole family (12, including teens and younger ones). We saw huge palm trees of different kinds, then walked the one mile trail out through the desert to the other oasis with a pond. There are benches if you want to rest and picnic (as we did). Our friend from Germany had never... More

In the middle of the desert, not far from the Agua Caliente Casino and In n Out, is this treed oasis sitting on the intersection of the tectonic plates...water bubbles up and you think the camels are just around the corner... There are many walking tours given and the surrounding scenery and wind mills are pretty powerful too.

On the san andreas fault line, there is enough moisture that comes up through the cracks to provide water for this natural oasis of palm trees in the desert. A lovely walk on raised decking, leading to a desert stroll to the 2nd part which includes a small spring fed lake. There is a visitors center on site and bathrooms.... More
