Great way to see some of these planes close up. Educational and interesting. I explore the B-17 I inside and out.

Our family of three, enjoyed an afternoon wandering the hangers, climbing through airplanes and learning the history of WWII. The highlight for my teen daughter was the art display, which shared stories of ordinary people who became hero's. The history docents were the terrific, as their passion is contagious, while they share informative and captivating stories (especially Mr. Huff). A... More

Nice selection of aircraft and knowledgeable people to answer any questions that visitors may have. I like the WWII aircraft. The publications, magazines, etc. were great. We looked through some Life magazines for the time we were born. Large library a big plus!

Where do I start? I have been to several civilian/military air museums and this is by far one of the very best. You can read all the reviews and see what they have to offer; it all comes down to how the facility is operated and managed. This is a first class operation with a large squadron full of super... Easy to find, easy to tour through the collection on your own. Volunteers readily available to assist with questions. Great chance to get up close to some magnificent machines, some are inside and some are outside. Appeals to all ages.

Interesting place that they are expanding to include more planes. Good exhibits on WW2 and Vietnam. Right next to Palm Springs Airport so got to see some planes taking off and landing. $16.50 was reasonable I thought.

My wife and I love the Palm Springs Air Museum. It is full of amazing planes and interesting history. But probably our favorite part of visiting there is talking to the docents. We were both in the military and it is an honor and a privilege to talk to the people who piloted these amazing pieces of aviation history both... More

This is a must see if you are a aviation person, and like history. Surprisingly I did enjoy it. Don't need reservations. Easy to get to. Last to see, great for taking pictures.

Very inspiring and informative way to spend an afternoon in Palm Springs. Great exhibits, planes, interactive videos and a great film about Pearl Harbor. We have been to many air shows but this opportunity to see the planes up close beats all!

Since Palm Springs turns out to be half Canadian during the winter months, they had a few Canadian flags and speakers for an afternoon. One of our uncles had been a bombarder in the Canadian Air Force, shoot down on his first mission of the war. He spent the remainder of the war as a POW, some 4 1/2 years.... More
