11 Minutes to the top!

A short ride up this smooth tram and you'll find yourself on top of the world. One of my favorite places to hike. Snow at the top, warm weather on the bottom.

Weekends & holidays are super busy. Last up on a week day & waits were not that long. Trials were a bit icy in places on the day we were there & it was windy but no snow. Nice to have the option to get to a different environment so quickly. Parking was $5 & I believe is free for... More

We went Christmas week and it was full of people looking for snow. There were families with little kids in snowsuits with sleds. Someone had crosscountry skis. The view was amazing and in spite of the crowd we all enjoyed it. Hint: when it's really busy they tell everyone the lot is full and there are no reservations available for... More

We took the tram up Mt San Jacinto and got a really great video of the 15 minute trip. The floor rotates and there is a narrator too. This is a really popular attraction and very good value for ticket price. We were so happy that we did this. The look out is really windy so you need a jacket... More

The tramway ride up and down are super fun. The gondola pivots, so you can really see everything. The weather is colder top there, so it was very refreshing compared to the burning hot July weather. The view is amazing and makes for beautiful photos. Take a few minute to watch the movie telling how it was all built. it's... More

We visited on January 2. The wait to go to the top was much, much longer than posted. There was a long line to purchase tickets and then a long wait time to ride to the top. Seats are few. The tram was packed, and we were squished in the middle where we could barely see out during the ride... More

A great way to spend a day, you drive up to the winding road and steep inclines and see lots of natural beauty, there is not much traffic on the road. Once you reach the base station you can take the Chair lift up the steep incline its like being in a elevator with windows. At the top the weather... More
