Very approachable even for me as a non-museum person. It is not a huge collection which makes it very manageable.(since Virtually all is on one floor ). Plus it's beautifully laid out with room to move and to comfortably walk on to the next section....More

Museum offers an eclectic assortment of modern/contemporary, native, meso-American and local art in a variety of mediums. This is a great way to get out of the heat and enjoy a nice collection of art. Includes modern and traditional pieces. Call to find out free entry times. Worth the visit.

Nicely displayed and curated. If you get a chance to go on Thursday evening, you are in for a treat as it is free. Many different collections, friendly staff and a great gift shop.

There was also an excellent collection of native baskets. While a small museum, there are some...More

I am definitely not an art lover. Went with my wife. They have some big name artists. To me some of it does not look like art, but it is. It is that way at any art museum.

We learned that on Thursday evenings there is a street faire and that the museum is open with free admission. Admittedly we got there too close to closing time to really enjoy the entire museum but it is a beautiful facility with many interesting exhibits....More
