This trail was more vigorous than I expected. There is quite an elevation increase to the top. The path is easy to follow and well-maintained. No wildlife here, really, but the view is amazing. Great trail for a run and easy to get to. Bring...More

Starting with ample street parking and ending with a satisfying trek, this offers a great workout and the stark beauty of the region. Stop and take a few photos.

This is a vigorous workout with a great view all the way to the top. Take LOTS of water and wear your sunscreen. People are friendly and you'll see oldsters, athletes, families and groups. Go early to beat the heat.

This hike was more than we were expecting. However, three of us of different fitness levels (none of us great hikers), conquered it with a great sense of accomplishment. Everyone on the trail was super nice and helpful. You'll see a diversity of fitness levels,...More

I like a nice hike as much as the next person. but it helps to have something to look at while you crunch your way uphill. The Bump and Grind is insanely popular, but it is just a dirt trail up a hill behind the...More

We hiked this trail twice...once during morning daylight hours and once before sunrise to catch the city lights and then the sunrise. The second experience was awesome in that it was cooler and much fewer people were on the trail.

Easy to access hiking trail. Good way to get a quick workout in and to experience nice views! The trail itself is moderately challenging. Definitely worth doing if you like hiking!

This trail starts in the back of a shopping complex and is basically hill climbing with not a lot of nice scenery. Tons of hikers too so always meeting people either going up or down. If you want something quick and a good climb in...More

I took my 8 and 12 year old hiking on a very windy day. The left side is steeper and not protected from the wind so I suggest not taking really young kids if there is wind. We hike here every year we visit palm...More

My wife - and occasionally, I as well - is a regular hiker up the Bump and Grind trail. Go early for the best experience as the weather warms, and we find it best to do our 30 minute ascent up the steeper trail to...More
