It's summer so we went early and most of the animals were still out. They have great informative talks and animals you can get close to. Take water it is after all a zoo in the desert featuring a myriad of (generally rescued) desert critters.

Yes, we have adult push-carts available free of charge, but we ask for a small donation. The push-carts are at a first-come first-serve basis.

Hop on HWY 111 and go South East. Stay on 111 for about 6 miles and then make a right onto Portola. We are on Portola on your left hand side 47900 Portola Ave in Palm Desert
