Once one of the old fishermen let my daughter hold his fishing pole while it was in the water. She talked for days about "fishing" in Pacifica. Nice beach there to walk along with large sand, very cool.

My boyfriend and I happened to be by the pier so we stopped and walked down to take a look- we were absolutely astonished by the amount of marine activity that is visible. We saw multiple large whales surfacing, dozens of dolphins and sand sharks...More

It's a long pier, nice to walk along if you have nothing better to do and that's about it, unless you're into fishing. No point driving all the way here just to walk this pier - you'll need to drive here unless you live around...More

The pier is long and stretched all the way into the ocean. Even on a cloudy Saturday, the place is packed with fishermen. I was surprised to learn how many are first timer. We saw a lot of people caught crabs. Sea lions are bubbling...More

The Pacifica Municipal Pier is a frequent visit destination of the weekly walks of the Pacifica Promendade. Great! During Whale migration twice each year and usually for several weeks this is a fantastic vantage point for viewing them.

The sun isn't always shining by the time the sun gets low on the horizon, but when you catch a clear day the pier is an amazing spot. If it is high tide, you might get to watch waves crash up on the sea wall...More
