My boyfriend and I happened to be by the pier so we stopped and walked down to take a look- we were absolutely astonished by the amount of marine activity that is visible. We saw multiple large whales surfacing, dozens of dolphins and sand sharks...More

You can park near the pier but hiking from the north or south is worth the walk. Trails to the south go for miles - some easy and some moderate. There is also the option to walk there via the beach. Get there at the...More

It's a long pier, nice to walk along if you have nothing better to do and that's about it, unless you're into fishing. No point driving all the way here just to walk this pier - you'll need to drive here unless you live around...More

The Pacifica Municipal Pier is a frequent visit destination of the weekly walks of the Pacifica Promendade. Great! During Whale migration twice each year and usually for several weeks this is a fantastic vantage point for viewing them.

The sun isn't always shining by the time the sun gets low on the horizon, but when you catch a clear day the pier is an amazing spot. If it is high tide, you might get to watch waves crash up on the sea wall...More

The pier is a popular spot for fishing. It is fairly long, extending well out into the ocean. The day we stopped there it was quite foggy so views were somewhat limited. Nevertheless, we did see a few birds such a gulls, surf scooters pigeons...More

Nice spot to park, get out of the car, and walk out over the ocean. Not too far from the airport. Also, not a lot to eat around here.
