The Point is just that...a point. There are some rocks that you can climb on or you can sit on the lawn or on a bench. There are also picnic tables. Or do like we do, bring or buy a picnic, spread a blanket out, and enjoy the day. Kids love to play here; although it isn't a playground.

As I was here in March outside the high season it was fairly easy to find a parking spot. With a maximum of two hours I had enough time to wander around. It's a beautiful park with a lovely beach where you can see all the locals spending their time off together. Lot's of surfing going on, paddling and you... More

Very nice area for a short stop. Paved walking trail. I saw a lot of people out walking their dogs. Limited number of parking spots but they are close and free. Small inlet beach area that was not rocky would be good for a little splashing around. Several large trees that are good for shade. Nice picnic areas. The area... More

This is the prettiest spot on the coast along Monterey/Pacific Grove. Take lots of pictures but don't go out on the rocks and turn your back to the ocean....it is beautifull but the waves can been sneaky and deadly. Whetherr you take a brief stroll or pack a picnic and stay all day, be sure to visit Lover's Point. There... More

The park at Lovers Point is small but very pleasant for walking around and for sitting and enjoying the magnificent scenery all around.

I purposely came here during sunset, the view is very beautiful and relaxing over here. The beach is also very clean.

A small stretch of sand in a small protected cove. Lots of divers will take their first free dive from here!! Lots of families use this too. The grounds are much improved in the last couple years. It's also fairly clean for a seaside park.

We stayed just across the street from this little gem of a park. Great views and some otters and such to see. Lots of folks going by joggers, swimmers, scuba and just folks looking around. The Beach House Restaurant is right there with a good view of the area. We didn't try eating there so I can't comment on that.

This park is right on the ocean just above two beaches. The park has picnic tables and BBQ's and large lawn areas. There are also public restrooms. Just down some steps are two great beaches. You get views of the Monterey Bay/Monterey and on a clear day Santa Cruz. The park is just a few blocks down from downtown Pacific... More

This park provides you glorious views of rugged coast. It has also access to a sandy beach, but not suitable for swimming. This park also can be starting point of coastal trail.
