A must see

Despite rain we couldn't miss the opportunity to see this landmark. I can see why so many couples get married here. So beautiful!

Another stop along the Monterey/Pacific Grove coastline as you walk through the town. Beautiful vistas and vantage point to see wildlife and the Bay.

Parking was easy (park in residential areas so you're not limited to 2 hours). Not crowded, and the kiddo loved playing on the beach. It's also a marine sanctuary, so keep an eye out for wildlife. Bathrooms clean, with snack bars, picnic tables, and awesome views.

This walk can start almost anywhere from the Monterey pier to 17 Mile Road. The only complaint is a lack of restrooms for long stretches of the path. For me it is so relaxing to walk on the path. To see the merging of sea, bird and animal life with the long expanse of a tranquil ocean is very soothing.... More

Beautiful beach. Surprisingly the beautiful beach was empty. We spent all morning looking at seashells and running from the waves.

There's something for everyone at this great gathering spot in PG: climb the rocks, rent bikes, kayaks and bike driven carriages, grab a snack, enjoy fine dining, maybe catch a wedding in progress, a volley ball game or surfers on the waves. So much to see and do at this little corner of paradise. Bring your bathing suit and enjoy... More

This is a beautiful place with incredible views of the ocean. There's a park, a beach where you can rent equipment such as body boards, snorkeling equipment etc There's an outdoor swimming pool and a volleyball court. There's a cafe but better still there's 'the grill' with outdoor seating area which has got amazing food. There is also parking near... More

An incredible view, we were able to see whales off of the point. It was fun to watch the surfers, otters, and seals.

There is a nice walkway that goes along the beach side which is great for walking. Also there is a nice park at one end. A very nice place to have a picnic

Take a few days and really get to know this area. It's so different from Carmel. Peaceful, uncrowded, authentic, not glitzy. A real beach for walkers, families, dog-lovers. Too cold to swim, but amazing with a coat, hot chocolate, a book and a dream.
