Gold Coast is a run that is accessed from the "upper mountain", where almost all of the beginner and intermediate runs originate. Gold Coast is one of the best because it has a very fast chair and gives the skier a long run that can be more challenging if you ski on the sides of the run.

I sympathize with the necessity of terrain parks as much as anyone, but the terrain park beside the Gold Coast chair, off the Gold Coast run, has removed from the general public a a sizable chunk of Intermediate/Beginner skiing area. If they could build the terrain park a bit further south, toward Siberia lift, it would be much nicer.

This is where Mom hangs out! Actually, any good green skier and advanced blue skier will find something fun to do here. Kids can challenge themselves in the terrain park while parents can glide past all the kooky things set up for the thrill seeking youths who aren't yet ready for Jonny Moseley's run or The Slot on KT22.
