The Krishnamurti center is more than just an educational resource center. The grounds host a retreat center and the land itself is absolutely magical. Surrounded by the Topa Topa mountains, a beautiful spiral garden was created here by Carol Wade, herbalist, spiritual naturalist, and caretaker of the garden. The medicinal garden is organized by body systems and the energy here... More

The Krishnamurti Library and Education Center gently and confidently reward curiosity and interest with insight challenge one to explore 'choiceless awareness', which transforms 'to be or not to be' into 'what is is'. An awesome and awe-full place where you will feel welcome and free 'to be' and can be open to observing 'what is' without fear or pressure of... More

This place truly honors the man himself. The grounds are kept immaculate, the keeper was very kind and the library of book offerings and other events weren't pushed on us. My husband is a big fan of JK and we had a great time walking through his old home and just sitting in the surrounding gardens having a cup of... More

The Center looks run down and not cared for. The library was closed though advertised as open. Felt sad seeing the condition as compared to several years ago.

This is the former residence of renowned teacher and philosopher, Jiddu Krishnamurti. Since his death his home is now called the Education Center. There you will find a library and an archive building where Krishnamurti's teachings and history are chronicled. This is not a place for a casual vacation.

This is definitely the case here, where the Krishnamurti Foundation offers lectures, books, DVDs about this impressive person who did much to inspire people on the... More
