We go to the Melodrama in Bakersfield all the time and this show was twice as funny as any we’ve seen. Eb Madson had me laughing so hard my belly hurt. He should be on Studio C.

Very fun evening and a nice time out of the campground. Conveniently located to Pismo area and nice facility. Well delivered comedic take on a classic and plenty to enjoy.

We joined a group of friends for a night out and took in Less Miserables at the theater. It was very funny and the all of the performers were fabulous.

This melodrama used to be really good and funny. It has gone downhill for the last 3-4 years. Sylvia was stupid. Hardly anyone laughed. There were a lot of empty seats and most people were not laughing. I wrote to them expressing my opinion and...More

Great American Melodrama is just a fun thing to do. We were entertained by the production Sylvia and the 1940's USO Vaudeville act. The seating is tricky, I'd suggest the pews at the back. The floor tables are small-ish and the seating cramped. We enjoyed...More
