Like all the regional parks in Oakland, this is a beautiful wild space. As a woman I have not felt comfortable here alone, but I love to hike here with my friends.

This is a wonderful park full of fabulous narrow trails in the oaks and bays of the hills of Oakland. Inhale the fresh air and behold the beauty of nature.

This is a pleasant, short walk (1 hour out and back) through the oaks and bay trees with lots of wildflowers in the spring.

This is a really nice, short loop hike. You get quite a variety of local plants. It does go up and down a fair bit, but not too strenuous.
