We used the ferry to travel over to downtown San Francisco for a day trip and back. Staff is friendly & helpful and the view is the best way to see it all.

this ferry is a great way to travel between San Francisco Alameda and Oakland and avoid the really horrible freeway traffic This 20 min trip is a lovely relaxed trip sipping a drink and eating a treat

Best way to enter the city from Oakland. Ferry runs quite often and inexpensive. Snacks on board are paid by cash only.. There are restrooms inside. We enjoyed it very much.

A wonderful way to get into San Fran if staying in Oakland. If you're planning on catching the ferry to AT&T Park I'd recommend getting to the Jack London stop a good 20 mins ahead of time.

My husband and I love taking the SF Bay ferry from Oakland to SF! We use our Sr Clipper card which is easy and we are grateful for the discount. The ferry is clean, timely and a great way to enjoy our beautiful surroundings!

Search San Francisco Bay Ferry for ferry schedules. Ferries leave the Ferry Building and Pier 41 (near Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf) and go to Jack London Square. If your goal is a ferry ride, search Golden Gate Ferry. You... More

I have never taken the Larkspur so I cannot answer. Living in Oakland I am partial there but getting to Marin and San Rafael and then Angle Island, the Larskpur works better I believe.
