Although I was here also during Friday / weekend - the lift lines were not too long and the site was not over crowded… the staff was very friendly I parked at the village side of the sugar bowl resort and took the gondola to get to the village. I’ve heard that parking lots get full quite fast so is... More

Great local resort for skiing. The snow in Feb 2017 was CRAZY!!! It isn't crowded, pricing is fantastic. And easy to get to from Reno. I would love to see this place in the summer. Beautiful views.

We arrived at the village side of the sugar bowl, taking the gondola across the mt to get over to the village. The ride was awesome and YoY should peel your eyes out for the location. And beautiful houses just below you. Get there and have to trundle down to get out and. It's a Monday and the weekend crowd... More

Came here on a holiday weekend, and it really didn't seem like a holiday weekend...which means, more room to snowboard! The snow condition was great minus the low visibility part. Thankfully there wasn't that many people in front of me to crash into. Most of the runs are int/adv. I stuck to the blue squares. Some tips: Come in the... More

It's been years since I was last here. This is a nice place to ski/board. Midweek skiing is a breeze as the runs are wide open! On this visit, the snow conditions were pretty darn good...not ideal, but definitely good. I parked at the upper lot and rode the gondola to the lifts (you can drive to the main lot... More

I have been Skiing at Sugar Bowl pretty regularly over the last two seasons as a Tahoe Gold Passholder at Squaw/Alpine, and I get four free days at Sugar Bowl. Suffice to say, I usually use ALL four Sugar Bowl days up. And there's GOOD reason why: Sugar Bowl is a little remote, BUT, it's well worth it. Some of... More

Very nice resort, the staff is SO FRIENDLY. Good and close parking and best thing is it is not over crowded. Also It is not overpriced. There is terrain for all levels and the lifts are very nice. It was my first experience here and I will definitely be back. Very family friendly as well.

Sugar Bowl Resort is a perfect spot for a day trip from the Bay Area. We left early and got a full day of skiing in. The resort has so many runs that we just couldn't get to all of them. There are runs for everyone in the family at all levels. The resort has a parking lot that is... More

We arrived at 8 am for rental equipment. The people in the rental area were very friendly and helpful. The slopes opened at 9 am, and the people operating the life were friendly and helpful. The slopes are well groomed and the ski patrol are everywhere just in case. There is a bunny slope for newbies. The slopes are very... More
