Great open and clean beach. Nice place for a walk, to shot photographs of the area, and to just relax and enjoy the ocean views.

Beach is nice. It was a bit chilly so could not enjoy it as much as we would have liked to enjoy it.

Spent a few hours there and loved the setting as well as the relaxed atmosphere. I very much enjoyed running up and down the beach with spectacular mountains and ocean views.

I haven't been to Newport in 30 years but recently got a chance to backtrack and visit for a few days after a convention in Anaheim. Newport and Balboa are just like I remember them with slightly more expansive boardwalk activities, restaurants, low rise condos...More

Nice place to go, recommend going early on, you get to see a fish market, walk the pier. Nice shops along the walk. Starts to get really crowded around noon. There is paid parking, very tight areas to drive in. Very friendly area and Beautiful.
