Lovely beach but had mounds of sand along the beach to protect the ocean as there was a spill from a greasetrap from a restaurant on the Newport Pier. Close by the Newport Beach Pier is the Balboa Pier, plus the Balboa Fun Zone, an...More

One of the great beaches in America. The water is amazing and the people are out in force to enjoy the day. Great Sand and good public access.

Newport Beach is an isthmus with the surf on one side and boatsman's paradise on the other with only a few streets in between. It has great shops and restaurants but surprisingly few accommodation choices. It is simply a great place to stay.

Soft sand, walking for miles, super safe and NO HIGHWAY to cross. What a treat. We used to stay in Huntington but the access, boardwalk, cycling options are great at Newport

Truly an amazing beach!! If you have kids, bring tons of sand toys to make sandcastles and play in the sand. There are miles of ocean and sand to play in! The pier is great and tons of shops and restaurants surround the beach

Really enjoyed walk on piers and beach. It is a classic Californian beach and with places to eat and drink.

This is a very clean, wide, and soft sand beach. The scenery is typical (beautiful) CA surf with pleasant breezes. The houses lining the beach range from some of the original quaint single-story beach cottages to ultra-modern mega-beach houses. Enjoyed walking a few miles down...More

Reside in Newport Beach and went to out with friends for dinner. I had suggested BlueFin sushi or Pirozzi in Corona Del Mar for dinner but we thought we would try 930 Sushi. We should have gone elsewhere

I recommend to go to Laguna Beach and to stay at the Marriott's Newport Coast Villas the location is great and you can rent it from owner, surfing and walking and getting around very easy to everything
