Jarvis Estate is a family owned winery dedicated to crafting a limited quantity of preeminent wines from our sustainably farmed, estate vineyards in the rugged hillside, four miles east of downtown Napa Valley. The Jarvis Estate winemaking facility is entirely contained within 45,000 square feet of cave tunneled into the scenic Vaca Mountains, and is not only a visual masterpiece, but a technical masterpiece as well. Wines are produced only from estate grown grapes and are cave-aged to perfection prior to release. Varietals include: Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Verdot, Tempranillo and a two proprietary Bordeaux blends.

This is one of the most unique experiences you can have in the Bay Area (and Napa of course) - the tour allows you to visit a premium family vineyard in the hills close to Napa, producing excellent wines (mostly red, with few whites). The production facility is inside a massive cave, which you'll be visiting on your tour -... More

This was so much more than your typical wine tasting event. Make your reservations in advance, because each group is very small and you don't want to miss this. You get a tour of the cave (winery) which is absolutely fun and amazing It's not just a hole in the mountain (they even have a ballroom in there). You're then seated... More

Jarvis is a place to go to for a completely different experience than the usual wine tasting in the valley. The winery is in a cave, the tour is personal and terrific, the wines are outstanding and pricey, and whole event is most memorable. Of course the cost is memorable as well. Be prepared to pay top dollar should there... More

Absolutely amazing. We went to three total wineries and this was by far the best one. The facility was incredible and the tour was incredibly insightful and fascinating. And of course the wine was amazing!

From the moment you enter Jarvis, you know you are about to have a completely different winery experience. Our group of 10 thoroughly enjoyed this tour and tasting experience. The wine was superb, the tour entertaining and the Jarvis employees quirky and fun. The facility is certainly one-of-a-kind and beautiful. I would certainly recommend a visit here.

This was my favorite estate tour from my week long visit to Napa. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a hilarious sarcastic wit. The behind-the-scenes cave experience included viewing everything from private gemstone collection and event hall to the quality laboratory and bottle wax dipping process. Reserve ahead! The range of wine is broad and also very tasty! The... More

The winey is big, nice and interesting as located in the cave. The owners organised and located the whole production under ground. The testing was very professional and the wine was very good. You have to pay for the tour but is worth it! unforgettable experience!

We visited Jarvis for a tour and tasting. The property was extraordinary! The tour of the cave and wine making process was amazing. Our tour guide, Tom, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The wines were exquisite!
