At Ironstone Vineyards, we are known for our hospitality. Inside the Tasting Room, our friendly staff is always happy to explain the origins and characteristics of each grape variety as you sample from our award-winning wines.

Our hospitality doesn't end at the there... Be sure to visit our Heritage Museum & Jewelry Shoppe, where you can pick up a piece of gold country history. While in the Heritage Museum, get your photo with our 44-pound cystalline gold piece, one of the largest gold pieces in the world!

Lovers of the great outdoors can enjoy the Ironstone Amphitheatre (home of our Summer Concert Series) wine caverns, fourteen acres of spectacular lakeside gardens, and our gold panning stream reminiscent of the California Gold Rush era.

Please Note: Our Gourmet Delicatessen is closed until Spring 2017. Please inquire in the Tasting Room about our charcuterie offerings.

There is quite a story behind the 4-generation Kautz family, owners of Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys. Locals encouraged me to go there to see "the nugget." Well, that was an understatement. I won't spoil it for you ~ let's just say that I caught my breath & froze @ the sight of it. Over 4 decades, Ironstone has become California’s... More

Very enjoyable to walk the grounds, look at the museum and look at all the very unique items - including non-wine related ones.

A friend and I were staying in Murphy's for the weekend and ecided to visit Ironstone Vineyards. A beautifuly appointed winery with a small interesting museum attached. We did some tasting and then decided to have lunch there. Handmade sandwiches and a bottle of their Pinot Grigio rounded out the day. The wine is very good and quite inexpensive. The... More

This is our favourite winery in Murphys itself. Huge grounds are beautiful and ready for a very classy wedding. Concerts take place in the outdoor arena. Excellent wines can be tasted in their very large tasting room. Take a tour to view their beautiful organ.

Plus, you shouldn't miss the big chunk of gold in the viewing room. The bar was packed, so service was a little slow because the guy on our end of the bar just couldn't keep up. Eventually an older lady helped us and served all of our tastings. Their wine is very good. I bought three bottles, and with all... More
