On our ladies' day out, we ended our outing here with a private tea ceremony (they have public teas on Sundays). What a marvelous place to be in: calming and refreshing. The lavender was in full bloom and smelled wonderful. Would like to come back and stay in the yurt.

It's tucked away, like so much in this area, and is gorgeous......even in the rain. Take a stroll, take a seat, take a picture and enjoy the beauty.

This is a many-layered place, Green Gulch. Immediately inland from Muir Beach, on an easy trail, you'll pass horses in their pasture. Entering a gate, you'll stroll past farmland, with vegetables being grown for the San Francisco Zen Center's high-class restaurant in The City, Greens. Through another gate, you 'll enter flower gardens and hothouses, including an enclosed formal garden... More

We stopped by to see this beautiful place. Lots of growing food and plants and really happy people. Everyone was working out in the fields and we heard the "singing bowl" at work in the meditation center. The whole place had a calming effect while we walked through. We even stumbled upon a little zen meditation garden that had a... More

Nice place to visit and enjoy the organic garden. Good bookstore and friendly staff. Lot of construction going on when we were there so cant say it was serene. But the place definitely has a relaxing atmosphere.

We stumbled upon this piece of heaven. Walked the property and ended up at the beach. Not crowed, very quiet and very serene!

This meditation center and organic farm is worth a visit. The staff is welcoming, but the walks there are perfect. A perfect side trip for the hiker.

I enjoyed the ambiance and the people who run the facility. I arrived on Sunday to listen in on the speaker. Afterwards, there was a tea and farmers market. I spent the night, although not cheap, food was included. The rooms are next to one another and you have shared bathrooms between two rooms. The shower is shared by the... More
