Close to Highway 101 with good parking, who would imagine you could go for a walk out into the bay, see marshes, birds and wildlife and enjoy nature so close to the stores and offices

So many segments of a wonderful walking experience! I've walked the trail in a few places and really like the Mountain View parts by Moffett Field.

Very beautiful trail with great views. You can see a lot of water birds. But the roads are dusty and rocky, not so good for road bikes. I gladly passed it without punctured tires, but will not do it again. Excellent for MTB and running

Beautiful views of south SF bay with tons of birds and you can workout at stations along the trail with some water fountains and bathrooms along the way. If you're doing marathon training, there is plenty of trails to get in your long runs.

I got onto the Bay Trail from Steven's Creek trail at Moffet Field and the Golf Course. The trail is in disrepair (tree root buckling) in numerous places. There are plenty of places to sit and take in the sites of the bay including bird...More

I've been biking this trail (infrequently) for years. Recently, it was refurbished and is in good shape. It connects with the awesome Stevens Creek Trail of Mountain View as you get to Moffett Field, Shoreline Park, and the edge of the bay. It goes around...More
