We hiked up there instead of using the ski lift for 25$ because dogs are not allowed on the ski lift and the ski season is over so I couldn't take my snowboard either. I wanted both. The hikes starts from the Parking lot -...More

Mt Baldy is no joke; it get's cold up there. Lot's to do, play in snow, hike, snowboard, ski, it's all available. Amazing snow play place in southern California! Go!

If you go in Jan, make sure you take layers of clothes, including snow boots, gloves or mittens, and a good jacket with a vinnie or hat!

Although snow season is short in Southern California, it is very convenient to drive to Mount Baldy ski lifts. Buy a lift ticket, it takes about 20 minutes to reach Top of The Notch. If weather is permitted, a good place to play snow.

Is there a resort bus that picks people up from accommodation in Anaheim during the peak season? If so, is it possible to book ahead of time? What does it cost? If not, what is the most efficient way to travel between Mt Baldy and Anaheim?

I doubt if there is any public transportation available with reasonable timing. Rent a car for 20$ and it would get you there in about 45mins...
