Great time kayaking around the estuary, learning about it, from our knowledgeable and personable guide Craig. Prior to our visit we were given information (emailed) and suggested attire to make kayaking more comfortable and safe.

We had a warm, sunny day. We saw red tailed hawks, pelicans, great blue herons, turkey vultures, cormorants, sand dollars, pieces of abalone, crabs, sailboats, and people fishing. We could have stayed out for hours and hours.

Morro Bay is just a beautiful place to kayak, protected from the ocean and yet large enough to hold lots of creatures, great and small. We were very lucky to have Virginia as our knowledgeable, enthusiastic guide. She pulled out all the stops, and literally...More
