Great time kayaking around the estuary, learning about it, from our knowledgeable and personable guide Craig. Prior to our visit we were given information (emailed) and suggested attire to make kayaking more comfortable and safe.
John Flaherty designed a trip that made everyone happy, and was a companionable professional at every step of the trip -- from lodging suggestions to identifying birds on the ride. We wanted a bare-bones trip, but with the reassurance of a well-planned route and a...More

Central Coast Outdoors is a top notch organisation that helped us coordinate an unsupported cycle from San Luis Obispo to Santa Barbara. Their pre-trip advice was fantastic, helping us with some complicated logistics and adjusting their "standard" packages to suit our needs. The bikes and...More

John here, owner of Central Coast Outdoors. Thanks for your inquiry. The short answer is "it depends." Often we do have good availability for our tours, especially kayak tours, up until 24-48 hours in advance. Some days we might have a large group that booked well in advance that might be taking all of our resources, however. The best way to check is to call or email us with the dates and tour you have in mind and we can check availability for you.
