We used the trolley between Cannery Row and old Monterey. It goes in a continuous loop via Fishermans Wharf every 15 - 20 minutes. It's free and the drivers are very courteous.

During my stay in Monterey I loved riding the bus around town, it was affordable and very handy, especially to get to the Cannery Row area. More reliable than transport in other Cali cities!
