This was a great trip, well organised with knowledgeable staff. I felt very safe with these people on board. When I felt a little sea sick, I was given ginger sweets, which really helped. We saw a whale which jumped, and turned in the air, a real wow factor, which made the trip worthwhile.

I decided to take a break from my Vacation to go fishing with my son-in-law. i called Chris's to see if they had any opening at the last minute. They allowed us to join them and off we went. the day was a busy one for us as we were pulling fish in left and right, 4 to 5 at... More

Thanks to gps we were running a bit late for our departure. We had called and they actually waited for us. We were able to see several whales. Plus on the way back we encountered a group of dolphins. It was a bit chilly, but that was expected. Very enjoyable trip.

This was our second fishing trip with Chris's charter fishing. We started out catching bait fish (6 at a time) and then proceeded onto deeper waters (200 ft) for Ling cod, and rock cod. After that we hit the crab pots for some Dungeness crab Great trip, exciting catches and the best crab ever to top off the trip. A... More

Booked in September as part of our family holidays and all had been really looking forward to this one. I appreciate whales cannot be summoned at th blast of a whistle but we chased one whale from a big distance for 20 minutes only ever seeing the spray of water before conceding it had lost us, then raced ahead to... Went out on our last day in Monterey. It took longer to get into the open ocean compared to a previous trip from Moss Landing. Guide was less talkative and engaging compared to previous whale watches. There were a family of people who got seasick but then sat at the front of the boat on the good seats even though... More

We took 7 people whale watching on a delightful November morning. The winds were calm, the sun was out - it was glorious. About 15 minutes out our 19 year old grand daughter was not feeling well, she was soon joined by her mother and her 23 year old brother. Wife had issues after we went outside of the bay.... More

We were scheduled for Friday at 1:30PM for whale watching. The traffic was herendous so we were running behind. Low and behold we get a call from Chris' Whale watching stating that the boat would sail at 1PM. Needless to say we were pretty upset because we would of been there at 1. We scratched our sailing with no explanation... More

Well worth doing, seeing the whales in their natural environment is unforgettable. This company load videos and information of sightings each day so you do feel confident you will get to see the whales. We were lucky enough to see a full breach which is unforgettable. A 3 hour trip is long enough but we all really loved it, saw... More
