I have been going to this trail for nearly 30 years or longer. Me and my son would roller blade and play roller hockey there, ride our bikes, walk and so on. Great place to get exersise and just walk and talk. Have fun.

Walk or bike - ideal for both. Wonderful views and regular notices explaining history. Much better explanations of Monterey history than on Cannery Row! Highly recommended

Another great coastal drive and this one is free / no entry free. Takes you around Monterey and Pacific Grove. Coastline, waterscapes, dunes, forests - it has it all to be enjoyed!

My wife and I jogged on this trail a couple mornings on our vacation. It is well maintained and at no time did we not feel safe. There were plenty of other joggers, walkers and cyclists on the path.
