Our tour started a little late, due to the small amount of people signed up that night of which a group of 4 were 20 minutes late. Despite that, we headed to the Old Monterey Hotel for exploring a notoriously haunt on our own while we waited. Your guide is laid-back, well-informed, and quick-witted. The combo made for an interesting... More

The Ghost Trolley of Monterey is a "must do" activity when visiting the Monterey area! This tour was filled with historical information as well as visits to some very spooky places in old downtown Monterey. The tour began by visiting an old native American burial site and ended up at the cemetery. Even if you don't believe in ghosts, you... More

My wife and I like to go to Monterey on our getaways. It's one of our favorite places to go. We've meant to take the Ghost Tour before but never got around to it, mostly because we travel with our dog most of the time. We got a dog-sitter this time and made sure we hit the tour. Gary was... More

My friend and I did the ghost trip on a friday night at Monterey and we must admit that we had a awsome and SCARY experience. When we first started the tour I must admit I wasnt expecting so much. I thought it was going to be just any kind of tour and boy was I proven wrong. My girl... More

Our guide had a ton of energy, diverse knowledge, and a strong desire to make us suspicious of the area. The trolley was real cool and the weather very eerie. The historical accounts helped me stay involved.

I took my teenage sister on this tour during her visit to Monterey. She loves everything ghosts. Gary tells great stories at each location with pictures and documents that he has researched to verify the stories and legends of each site. I thoroughly enjoyed the stories and history and wish he did a complete walking tour of Monterey. If you... More

We had a fabulous time on this tour! Gary is a great story teller and generous with his information about historical places to visit. My EMF reader went off like crazy at the first stop so we were excited. We also got a picture of an orb. We didn't get much after that except at the jail, but then ghosts... More

One might as well call this the Monterey vampire tour because it sucks. The history and legends could just as well be learned from the Monterey library and one can just as well visit the sites on their own. The only thing scary about the tour was the high-spirtited guide. Needless to say there were no ghosts. Boo for this... More

Sorry you were unable to enjoy the epic stories, haunts and legends of enchanting Old Monterey. After 13 years of research and 10 years of giving the tour, our collection of historical paranormal events won't be easily found at our local library.....BUT if our tour can get you into doing research and spending some time in our local museums and... We decided to try the tour to cap off the evening of our 17th anniversary. We had a great time. We enjoyed the tour, especially the fact that we had the opportunity to get off the trolley on a couple of occasions and were able to take pictures. I still have them on my camera, but I look forward to... More
