Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The brewer was server his own ale/lagers.....so he knew and the answers. I dont as a rule like sours but his sours were drinkable. I loved loved his beers....a little hard to find but worth effort....look for the signs when you get close. He malts his own grain and grows his own hops, what fun

This place came highly recommended by a few people. There are a lot of breweries in the Humboldt region, but this place is special. It’s clear there goal is not to build a name and sell out. The owner (who also operates the tasting room) truly loves what he is doing.

The tasting room is essentially a garage where all the brewing is also done. There are a few seats, but not s lot of room. However, the lack of a fancy tasting room is perfect for the vibe of this place. Everyone here chats and discusses the beer. It’s an extremely friendly and enjoyable environment.

Now for the beer - unique and very solid. I told the brewer to pour me six tasters of his choosing. He asked me some questions about preferences and poured me six beers. I loved 4 of them, especially those in the sour end of the spectrum. I liked one. I was indifferent about the final one, but definitely did not dislike it.

I will definitely go back here and if I was a local I would join the membership program and drink this beer regularly.

We stopped at this place today and had 4 different beers. We were all very happy with the beer and if I lived here I'd enjoy more of their beer. Go have a beer and tell your family & friends to stop by. You will be happy you did.

Way in back. They are working towards growing all of their malt and hops. High quality product here. The banana tasting wheat was phenomenal. Loved the sour I tasted. This is a special place, especially for a beer nerd. They have a community supported beer program, which I would totally do if I was local. Very small, no food. They fill growlers and take credit cards though. Some of the best beer around here.

Driving down Central Ave. in McKinleyville, CA I kept seeing this bright yellow sign: Beer To Go. I had to check it out! At the very back of an industrial set of building, hidden away in a small warehouse is Humboldt Regeneration Brewery and Farm. The brewmaster, Jason, prides himself on using only locally sourced ingredients for his beer, made in small batches onsite. He even has a small tasting room and can fill growlers for his customers. We take all of our Humboldt guests to see his operation and taste his brews. He is great fun to talk to and is always ready to answer questions!

This entire brewery is located in a storage unit in a storage yard. Their farm is about a mile away. All the ingredients in their beers are locally grown and harvested.....a true California beer. They have 4 oz. sample tastes at $3.00 each, and all that I tried were wonderful. I even took home a "Growler Jug" full of their double IPA.....There are no tables, and you can actually watch the brewing process happen right in front of you..Try this place....You won't be dissapointed.
