Global Gardens is Santa Barbara county's 1st Certified Organic Extra Virgin...

Global Gardens is Santa Barbara county's 1st Certified Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil Producer. Our 3-acre mini farm is centrally located in the heart of beautiful wine country, the Santa Ynez Valley, tucked between Los Olivos and Solvang at a historic Wells Fargo stage coach stop. A distinctive stone wall surrounds an olive grove of Italian & Greek varietal olives we planted in 2004; precisely where stage coaches and horses used to stop for water and blacksmithing! Now, instead of repairing horse shoes and wheel cogs, you can taste over 40 food products from our organic/GMO free home-grown, family-produced & globally-inspired product line.

It doesn't get any more local than this! Our hearty $5 experience features a customized tasting pallet, freshly baked rustic roll and a guided, educational tasting that will take you from aficionado to an Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar expert in a matter of minutes! We make over 20 Fruit Balsamics, Sauces, Appetizer Spreads, Organic Mustards, Spice Blends, Rubs, Organic Travel Snacks & Confections too. Our sweets are lovingly made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil instead of butter, organic ingredients and no GMO's. Everybody enjoys our Tasting Bar; even the little ones love to taste and be a part of the fun too! Original, flavorful and unforgettable...we are consistently voted as the #1 destination on fancy wine tours!

Feel free to bring your own lunch, relax under centuries-old oak & eucalyptus trees, watch monarchs sunning on flowers, listen to the bubbly year 'round creek, while enjoying the sites, scents and flavors in our seasonally planted gardens. If you want to stay connected, Join The Olive Revolution(R), an olive oil & gourmet food Club that is just like a wine club-except you don't drink it all in one night! Choose from our exclusive Oil of the Month or Classic Quarterly Club.

We happened upon this roadside stop on a lovely day.The owner immediately greeted us and began educating us on her local, organic operation. The tasting was delicious and totally worth the fee. However, we liked it so much that we joined the club and so the fee was waived. We were impressed by her knowledge and service, and the fact... More

This al fresco tasting room features fabulous premium olive oils, vinegars, and other gourmet items. The owner, Theo, celebrates her Greek heritage and love of food with daily tastings and frequent seminars. The outdoor tasting "room" is a great place to linger and taste. Whether you're a novie or accomplished chef, you'll learn a thing or two.

Theo at Global Gardens was a gem. She opened her shop for us after hours and at the last minute. That's service! We tasted 12 olive oils paired with some wonderful vinegars and spices. It was relaxed, informative and most importantly - delicious! I highly recommend visiting. You won't be disappointed.

Needed a break from wine tasting, though not ready for a meal, drove a little outside of Los Olivos town and found ..... GLOBAL GARDENS! Wow! This place is unique, fun and fabulous! Theo the Owner, spoiled us with 7 unique olive oils/blends then with 5 vinegars. Her oils and vinegars create flavor explosions in your mouth. I was amazed... More

You will pay $5 for the tasting with one ciabatta type bread and about 8 different olive oils and 4-5 flavored vinegars so that's interesting. Hostess was very rushed on that day and was not really paying attention to us otherwise worth it. One bottle of flavored vinegar was $24. Bout same price for oils and they don't have smaller... We visited Los Alamos, CA, a former stagecoach stop, with our two dogs for the day and were directed to this restaurant by a local art gallery owner. It is a combination picnic/haute cousine place with recycled "plates" made out of palm leaves, biodegradable cutlery, paper napkins, and top-notch local wines and delicious food. The menu is limited and changes... More

Global Gardens recently moved from Los Olivos and have expanded to also have a wonderfully creative and delicious cafe! Do an olive oil tasting--it will blow your mind to taste the variety that they have to offer. Theo is passionate about her olives and food...and it shows!

For my wife and I it was one of those experiences that is almost beyond words. This unassuming shop was far from what we expected. But this is not your typical olive oil and vinegar tasting venue. Here you feel warmth and welcome. It's certainly not a cold and industrial feel you can get from other businesses. Here there smell... More
