Our Santa Ynez Valley winery tasting room offers one of the Central Coast’s most comfortable and comprehensive visitor experiences, including daily winery tours and extensive picnic facilities. Archive photos and other artifacts chart the Firestone family’s pioneering heritage, from turn-of-the-century tire innovation to the establishment of Santa Barbara County’s first estate winery in 1972. The recently remodeled tasting room features an island bar and picture windows that overlook our estate vineyards. We strive to offer an informative and welcoming atmosphere that will appeal to wine enthusiasts and novices alike. Our free daily tours guide you through the history of the winery, and through the production of fine wine from vine to glass. Tours begin at the demonstration cork tree and continue out into the estate vineyards. The winemaking process is then showcased from the crush pad to the fermentation cellar to the barrel cellar. Tours typically last between 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the volume of guests and depth of questions. Tours depart daily at 11:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.

Lucky enough to be invited to a closed event at the Winery. Beautiful day with good food, good live music and , of course, good wine. Only regret was they ran out of Pinot Noir, my favorite. Great location to visit!

We chose this winery mostly because a brief scene from Sideways was filmed here. :) But we had a wonderful experience! We were just a little too late to get on the tour (too bad!) but that meant we had our own private wine tasting....More

The vineyard is just beautiful as is the tasting room. We brought a picnic lunch and sat at a table to enjoy the gorgeous weather and beautiful scenery. No one bothered us. We actually napped outside while the boys did a tasting. Certainly a must...More

Came here for our first ever wine tasting. Went very well. Signed up for the double up wine membership shipping option. Like the Riesling the best! Recommend coming early to beat any crowds or on and "off" day.

My husband and I met wine tasting in this region and he proposed here at Firestone. Such beautiful scenery. I know many visitors like to go to tasting rooms that offer wine that they can't find in their local grocery/ wine store. I get that...More

I wasn't sure what to expect when visiting such a large scale operation but I was pleasantly surprised. It actually turned out to be one of our favorite vineyards. The scenery and views from the tasting room are breathtaking. I enjoyed the reserve tasting best....More

Good wine. Beautiful setting. Great outdoor area for picnicking while enjoying a glass of wine. Reasonable tasting fee. Staff not too friendly.
