Drove from Santa Barbara to Los Olivos to visit the SAARLOOSons tasting room. The sign in the door indicated it was open but there was no one around. Called the phone number associated with the vineyard. Greeting stated they were open. Others also indicated they had driven to Los Olivos expecting to find the place open. Their website indicates they... More

Visited from England with our American friends, absolutely loved this place; the interior is straight-out of an interiors magazine and I love their clothing range. The best part though is the cupcake pairing with the wine....absolutely perfect! The wine was excellent and the cup cakes delicious! People were coming in just for cupcakes they are so good, you can tell... More

This is always a MUST stop when we go to the Valley. The staff, usually at least 1 family member is working, are knowledgeable, fun and efficient. The wine is some of our favorite in the area and how can you go wrong with the world's best cupcakes? It does get crowded and crazy on the weekends inside but you... More

We loved our stop here - shared the cupcakes (YUMMY) and tasting with my friend which worked out great. We really enjoyed the wine and one of the family members was there pouring which was a treat - he was great. Adorable place inside and love the history behind all the labels. I'd definitely make this a stop on the... More

I went with some friends to this winery, and the people who work here seem very disintetested in working there. If you like rude service, then this is the place for you. No explanation to what wine was being poured, no talk about the wines, winery, area...nothing but silence. After tasting the wines, I could see why they didn't talk... More

The wine is inventive and quite good. Each bottle is infused with a family history, which you will learn with the tasting. The decor is pure hipster, but in a fun way. They offer a great cupcake and wine pairing, which I highly recommend.

Finesse is the word that comes to mind when tasting/sampling the red wines by Saarloos on their patio right on the edge of Los Olivos. We tried four reds and fell in love with three of them. Tasting is only 10USD by the way. Tasting-room is very nice but you'd best enjoy the wines outside. One note: I know we... More

My mother's day weekend had to include a wine tasting, and yet I wasn't going to leave my kids behind. So, I booked a wine tasting in the private tasting room, and our kids (18, 15, and 13) sat quietly listening while eating cupcakes. I was grateful to be able to enjoy the wines, as well as the conversation, while... More
