    So Easy and Economical
Plenty of seats even though I boarded at Terminal 7, the last stop at LAX. Midday ride to Van Nuys was smooth and traffic-free. Clean terminal, easy to get taxi or shared ride service. Definitely will use again.

Flyaway has updated vehicles and tech for paying
I’ve taken Flyaway for about 15 years and always found their payment system clumsy at best. No longer! On the new Volvo buses, one can now tap a credit card or their phone to pay upon boarding, like a regular bus. No more standing in line at the Union Station kiosk paying post-trip. Give it a try!

Good once it gets going - but very slow inside LAX
I got the flyaway (LAX to Union Station) from Terminal 1. It stops at each terminal, sometimes multiple stops per terminal and for me this took 30 mins from getting on at T1 to actually leaving LAX. Once we left LAX we had a great run into Union Station. For context, this was Saturday 940am leaving T1 and arrived at Union station about 1040 I asked my hotel shuttle to drop me at the flyaway stop and they just dropped me at T1. Next time I would consider asking to be dropped at the T7 flyaway stop to avoid the 30 mins of stop start, but other reviewers here have said that the bus fills up at the earlier terminals and sometimes misses the later ones. So please probably arguments either way!

The only thing about LAX that doesn’t suck
Unlike everything else to do with LAX, this bus service is clean, cheap and efficient. I caught the Union Station to LAX 6pm service which made it to the airport by 6.35 - impressive in LA peak hour. Finding the bus at Union Station is a little tricky but if you arrive at the eastern side and use the signage to head to Patsaouras Transit Plaza there should be staff to help. I can’t speak for the reverse direction but highly recommended if you’re heading towards the airport. Tickets are easily purchased using the app.

I had 3 buses pass Terminal 6 at LAX that were going to Union Station, because there were all full. They kept saying another bus would be by in 10 minutes, which is not true. There were plenty of buses picking up passengers to take them to Van Nuys FlyAway. I finally walked across the parking lot to Terminal 2 to catch a bus to Union Station and by time they got to Terminal 5 it was full and they bypassed Terminal 6 again.

The drive to Union Station was fine. Driver was nice. It was crowded getting off the bus because the group waiting to get on the bus to LAX is standing right where you are claiming your luggage. Needs better organization for passengers getting on and off the bus at Union Station.

We were here to visit as tourists and bought 2 tickets, waited at the bus stop from about 11.50 for the 12.15 bus. Bus still did not turn up at 12.30 and we had to take an uber to catch our flight as the GPS map revealed there weren't even any buses heading in our direction (only 3 buses and all of them were heading to Lax). Ridiculous of them to even promise a bus every hour when it is clearly not the case. Don't take it as they're probably not gonna even refund you

Even though the bus is supposed to run every 20 minutes, my family and I waited over an HOUR for a bus, only for it to be full by the time it reached our terminal. The next bus was 45 minutes later. When the next bus finally arrived, the driver rudely demanded everyone needed a mask to enter. Fortunately a stranger gave my family and me extra masks as we didn’t have any. The driver then rudely said he wasn’t going to let us on and drove off, leaving my family and me and 8 others standing at the curb. This guy should be fired today immediately!

I am a frequent flyer and I ALWAYS travel with Flyaway. They have several stops on lower level terminals at LAX, they have two destinations VAN NUYS and Union Station from LAX and vice versa. They have big comfy buses, wi-fi doesn't always work. The bus was mislabeled as VAN NUYS bound from LAX but it actually went to Union Station, that was ok, as the driver went out of her way to make sure nobody got on the wrong bus. If you arrive at LAX and need to catch a bus/ train, this is your best bet. You may purchase your tickets through their app or an arrival at a kiosk by using your card. Cost was 9.75 USD on January 15th 2023.

We have been taking the flyaway to and from Lax for over 15 years. Always had great service until our recent trip. We arrived at the international portion of LAX and could not find our usual flyaway signage. We located a sign that stated Flyaway schedule, but no stop posted. We continue to walk toward where the stops used to be. We ask several airport employees with little to no information, except keep walking down there. The downtown bus came by us and we ask the driver where is the stop located. He stated it’s down there a ways. After walking the entire length of the airport, we see a bus heading our way and we flagged him down. This very rude and unconcerned bus driver stated there have been changes to where you pick up passengers for about1 year now, and we should have known about those changes. How ? No one at the station where we purchased out tickets told us, there are no signs posted to let costumer know there are manger changes at the airport. This did not care we had walked for miles with large luggage. Once he stopped he told my husband take your own bags off of the cart. This man was the rudest driver we have ever encountered. We will think twice before we take the Flyaway any time soon.

My wife and I were left at the airport. The diver picked up our luggage and said it is too heavy and took off leaving us there. He did not explain why all he said was "I am not picking you up and you need to wait for the next bus". Did something change? I thought if your luggage goes thru a scale at the airport and it is not heavier than 50 lbs you are ok. I told the driver ot had just gone thru the scale but he did not listen to what I told him. We ended waiting for the next bus which did the same thing with other people that were waiting. That night it was two drivers leaving people with no explanation other than "your luggage is too heavy". A ver bad and sad experience with these two driver.

If you like packing your suitcase just to have it lost on your way to the airport, this service is just for you.

Yes, from the moment my suitcase got tagged until the moment I reached my terminal my suitcase was gone. I had to board my plane and reach my destination without a suitcase.

Of course they took zero responsibility for it. I didn’t even get an apology and my emails about the situation are still being ignored.

Ubering to LAX is more expensive but cheaper than having your belongings lost.

If you have no luggage, then this service makes sense. If you have luggage, use an alternative.

I pre-paid for 3 bus tickets. We arrived at the Van Nuys terminal on time and were informed that the bus for our advertised departure time was cancelled due to a lack of busses. The Fly Away rep woman at the parking terminal was rude and no help. We had to take Uber to get to LAX on time for our flight. I'm now told that they wont refund my tickets.

On our return trip I did use the bus service but the busses were so over crowded we had to wait for over 2 hrs for a bus to pick us up.

They are cutting corners by not providing sufficient number busses for the ticket they are selling.

Do not use this bus service because its unreliable and employees are rude and don't care about customer service.

I wish I could give zero.
The bus broke down on the 405 and we were promised another bus was coming in 10 mins by the driver.
90 mins and having had 5 Flyaway buses pass us in that time we arrived at LAX and we missed our flight.
Flyaway have refused to assist in any way and only offered to refund the ticket.

NOT RELIABLE!! The 3:40 pm FlyLAX pickup at LAX did not show up. I couldn’t get anyone on the phone, & I couldn’t connect with anyone online. I’m therefore missing my Amtrak train I paid $54 for due to their lack of professionalism & reliability.
