Neighbourhood: Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.

Last weekend, I attended @fever_us, Jack & Sally's Bloody Bottomless Sangria Haunted Wedding Celebration. There were certainly things I loved, and some things I didn’t love so much.

The event was held at Jane’s House, a historic “haunted” house in a bad part of Hollywood. Once inside the venue, everything was gorgeous, and you forgot where you were for a while.

The food was tasty, the drinks constantly refreshed, and the staff was on point! We had chicken taquitos, street tacos, and chocolate cake, all served up with bottomless red wine sangrias.

The venue constantly played different Nightmare Before Christmas songs, so the music made me feel like I was in @Disneyland for Halloween. I absolutely loved that.

The event could have done a bit more to fit the theme, like include Sally for instance. The price of the ticket was for the exclusivity of a private party in Hollywood, more so than for the ambience. The home itself was beyond gorgeous.

Overall, I had a great time and would actually attend another event. #DineWithDavi

From the moment you walk in this place grabs you and says you’re here for a good time. Off you go. Plenty of bars and areas to dance as well as a great outdoor area to breath and relax near the open fire. 10/10 for this place. Unbelievable

I came here for a whole 5 minutes and had one of the scariest and confusing experiences in a club that I've ever been put through. I realized very quickly I did not want to be at your bar but because of its hidden entrance, I got confused looking for the exit and took a flight of stairs that were apparently off limits or something. A woman who was walking in front of me turned around and started yelling at me and told me I was following her and I would have to leave immediately. She was short and had blonde hair and I think was a manager or something. The next thing I knew I was being physically kicked out of the bar and told I would have to leave out the side emergency exit. I demanded to know what I did wrong but the bouncers would not give me any explanation. I felt very scared for my safety and was in such shock afterward. Horrible customer relations!

There are several entrances and they all are different and unique we went they the one with that was a bedroom with a lady of the night in it. Drinks are reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly.
I will go back!

This place is FUN and VERY large! the entrance is my favorite part... I won't ruin it but you'll enjoy it! We only got a drink to check the place out. It was a fun but small crowd... I mean it was a Wednesday and it had just opened so I wasn't expecting anything crazy. Music was great too!

This place really took me by surprise. The entrance is inside a car park. The theme is burlesque. I really want to describe the entrance but for the sake of concealing the surprise & novelty of this bar, I can’t. The drinks are quite pricey but that’s L.A. for you. You have the option to drink in doors or out. However the outdoor bar doesn’t open until 9:30pm. This bar is a hidden gem & an experience to behold

Criminals. We have ordered a bottle for 900$ and an hour before the club was closed we saw how the guys from the club stole it from our table saying that was empty (Not even 50%) and they put the bottle in the own bar. Also many people “lost” their phone and wallet in what they call “VIP” area.. It is a shame of place

You have to find this place behind a few alleyways first, then you go through some interesting theatrics to get into the 1940s-style speakeasy, but I will definitely not ruin that for you except to say..."you gotta try this place!' Expect an slightly upscale crowd, and drinks are a bit spendy, but this is LA - performers and staff are all in character, and I will tell you that you exit the place from a different manner that you get in - but that's enough clues. One of the coolest speakeasies I have ever visitied - and did I mention, you gotta go? Do it!
