Located on the lobby level of the W Los Angeles, Whiskey Blue is the destination for the Los Angeles ‘it’ crowd and a haven for VIP’s who want to shy away from the limelight for a night. World-renowned interior design team Yabu Pushelberg created a breezy Polynesian hideaway through their dynamic design, provocative lighting accents and statement art pieces by Moss & Lamb. An immaculate staircase leads to an expansive lounge area where guests can enjoy seasonal cocktails from Whiskey Blue’s ever-changing selection of libations. A small bites menu is available, provided by Executive Chef Dakota Weiss of Bravo’s “Top Chef.” Whiskey Blue also features a private event space, outdoor patio and an adjacent café.

As with most of the W hotels this is a good spot to have a few drinks and something to eat. The outside area is the best, the inside feels a little too hotel like check in vibe for me.

The W is a great place for people watching and to see and be seen. However, I personally wouldn't likely stay at this hotel. The architecture and the art/photos in the restaurant lobby and upstairs are wonderful and fun, but the drinks are very pricey...More

Great rooms, top service, but at night blinged men with several six-foot girlfriends each, crowded the bars at every night. Don't know WHAT they were doing.
