Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a cemetery. A friend visiting from out of town wanted to go to see a few celebrity graves. Always trying to be accommodating to someone from out of town I took her. She was bored after 5 minutes and I was bored parking the car.
It is a cemetery. If you don't personally know someone who's buried there or interned there I'm just not sure the point. Yes, there are celebrities in mausoleums and in the ground and you can leave flowers and you can visit.
This is the second time I have been asked to take someone there and it is my last. Life is too short to waste my time at a cemetery that houses people I do not know, never did know and who have no idea I am there. but if you're into this sort of thing have a great time. It is rarely crowded.

Lots of celebrities are here at Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park. Very serene and pretty. I was staying with my aunt around the corner from where Marilyn Monroe was living when she passed away. I remember everybody was very sad. I was quite young.

My husband and I spent a pleasant morning wandering around this cemetery paying our respects to famous people buried there. Google a map to help you locate various gravesites. The cemetery is very small and tucked away behind buildings. You enter through a driveway on either Wilshire (go slow, it’s easy to miss) or Glendon Avenue (again, go slow because you think you are driving into a private driveway). This is a peaceful spot with understated memorials.

So this is the second time I have visited a cemetery in search of celebrity graves. The other was in San Francisco to find Bruce and Brandon Lee’s graves. This is a very small cemetery but they have optimized the space they have. I wandered the entire place and it took about three times longer than I expected. I found most of the graves I was looking for without help. I finally had to go into the office and the nice lady there pointed me to the last one I was looking for. There were some I didn’t expect to see which was nice too.

I enjoy traveling the country and seeing the resting places of many celebrities. My main focus is on musicians, but I also find it interesting to see other celebrities as well. I read a lot about Roy Orbison and visiting his unmarked grave was my main reason for visiting, but I also found came for the rock legend Frank Zappa as well. I enjoy visiting these places and creating tiktok content under the name @ubermike615. The parking is easy and the list of celebrities laid to rest here are plentiful. Just remember to be respectful as this is not a Tourist Attraction.

A quiet, beautiful cemetery that is surrounded by tall buildings and hidden in busy Los Angeles.
It is a must-see visit for fans of the movies and TV.
The stars are here but be very respectful of everyone who rests here.
Not everyone is a star, and privacy matters for loved ones.
Photography is allowed, but not video.
The staff is great and helpful.

This is not part of the tour, but our friendly guide left us here for a short visit. Marilyn Monroe and Hugh Hefner side by side. Very well maintained area that I suppose is home to most of Los Angeles' wealthy and Hollywood stars.

Visited here to see some of the celebrity graves. It is a little hidden away and it is a very calming peaceful place. Quite a few celebrities buried here. Some graves made me a little sad as quite plain. Definitely worth a visit.

I thought my spouse was nuts when they suggested we visit a cemetery. However this place was actually pretty cool. Since there are so many celebrities buried here I expected a "circus" vibe. However it was actually very serene. The teen is usually creeped out by all things death related, but even they found this place interesting.

Great little spot to pay see Hugh and Marilyn resting place, no crowd and no cost parking. A lot of other well known names as well. Whilst it initially seemed morbid to go or like you'd be judged it wasn't like that at all. And she has been a big part of so many peoples lives even after death.

Me gustarÃa saber si existe algún tour que se pueda comprar para visitar este cementerio u otro famoso. Estaré muy poco en Los Angeles y no quiero perder tiempo.

Hi, I'm not sure if there is a tour, but this cemetry is "very small", so that you don't need many time to find everything.
It's a beautiful small cemetry.
