You almost feel like you are walking down a street on a movie set staged on a back lot at Disney or Universal Studios. It does feel old and it actually is. Might be worth a visit if you have the time.

The Old Bank Area is interesting to walk through if you're downtown, but doesn't merit a special trip to visit. Interesting old banks, some functioning and others converted to new uses. OK to do in the daytime, but the area gets pretty seedy after dark....More

We did a walking tour through here and while the buildings are quite impressive, or would have been once, they have been let run down and most have been converted into crappy low cost apartments. Apparently the city is putting money into revamping the district...More
