Family fun on the course - take your soccer ball or rent from them. Takes about an hour on this short course. Try this new activity - great for all ages.

The course is enjoyable but not overly challenging, so get out and play one of the old PGA golf clubs.

The process was easy to get on the course, although you must reserve your tee time well in advance. I rented a full bag of clubs for $30 and they were pretty decent. Of course, it is expensive: $170 for 3 people, 18 holes and 2 golf carts. The course is a bit rough with divets, but the greens are... More

We played Rancho Park (18) yesterday. We teed off at 8AM and we were done at 12:30 even though we had to wait on the group in front of us a few times. Los Angeles is in a severe drought so there are some bare spots on the edges of the fairways but its still very playable. This course used... More

Brown, dry, looks awful. I know we have a drought, but surely they could use re-claimed water. Looks like a third world golf course except for the greens. They are only second world.

Course is a challenging, yet fun layout. Lot of history here. The only drawback was the pace of play-they are very busy!

Rancho Park has a cute short par 3 course. I shot two holes in one there last year (of course I said short). The restaurant is also comfortable and has a great menu.

This course is pretty straight and easy. Cheap for residents, but you have to have a resident card to book your tee time. The course wasn't too slow, but we did go during the week.

Municipal course - good design - some very testing par 4's - tees and fairways not in good condition - greens good fast and tricky - can be slow overall worth a visit
