It’s almost a must eat at if you are in the vicinity of Union Station. Feels like the streets of Tijuana. Food is pretty good and we were seated by the fireplace too, which was awesome.

Very good, California style Mexican food. Spacious and airy dining area. Touristy but fun. On Olvera Street.

We went to La Golondrina at the suggestion of the valet at our hotel, who characterized it as "authentic." What an understatement! It sits amidst a bazaar/marketplace with dozens of vendors of Mexican goods that appears out of nowhere in what is otherwise Downtown LA....More

I'm quite surprised that there are no reviews for this restaurant. Visited recently while on a tour in DTLA. The place was very busy. I do not agree with the other reviewer, we had to wait at least a good 15 minutes before the food...More

Sunday in LA downtown is very slow with most restaurants closed. That place was on a very livable Olvera street , worth visiting (street only!). The menu was rather decent and the restaurant was nearly full, so we went inside. To our surprise the ordered...More
