This was once seedy and, frankly, embarrassing, but it has gone through updates and refurbishments. An architectural gem.

It's huge. Lots of different things to check out (no pun intended) Books, meeting rooms, patio, theatre.

This is one of the most beautiful libraries in the world, especially the rotunda, which is breathtaking. There were great art exhibits in the galleries. California residents can apply for a card, and get validated parking in the lot beneath the library which is 15...More

Wonderful Building. Great children's section which the kids enjoyed immensely. The area is loaded with children's books, puppets and toys which encourage imaginative play

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering
buildings, bustling streets, and industrial
warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of
cultures here with a growing influx of business
professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of
Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts,
bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly.
Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants
