THIS LIBRARY IS AMAZING. Yes, I admit, I am the kind of person that visits public library branches when I travel. Not all public libraries, mind you. But the great ones. A lot of people visit New York's main public library, but I'm not sure...More

We were passing it every day and did not know that was library - did not look like library but a museum os concert hall. I did not use any library device but it was worth to walk in and see it.

The architecture of the building is not to be missed, both inside and out. But make sure to go inside to see whatever exhibition might be in progress in both the Getty and Annenberg Galleries. And it's all free! Good for history buffs, book buffs,...More

I am the kind of person who loves the smell of old books, The architecture alone should convince you to drop by for a few hours. its stunning.

We took our teens here on a visit to LA and we all enjoyed our visit. Just a quick sotp but interesting architecture and obviously a good book selection. If you need a little rest stop downtown, stop by.

The Los Angeles Central Library is not to be missed while visiting downtown. Named after Richard Riordan, former mayor of L.A. the library is a special landmark of the older Los Angeles.

Beautiful iconic building downtown with a park outside. This is a great library institution building, very important part of the community and historic.

The historic LA Central Library was worth the stop for fans of architecture. Located in Downtown, the modern early 20th stone building has an elegant front courtyard with reflecting pool, colorful murals and tiled roof pyramid. The location is close to hotels and the Bunker...More

The library is interesting with displays like a museum. Not sure how useful it could be as a community library as parking is outrageous. maybe patrons use public transport.

Very useful with 5 million visitors a year. Plenty of other parking choices nearby plus 35 bus lines and 2 subway stops within two blocks!
