I did not enjoy this tour which was exceptionally limited and dull. Having already been on the Warner Bros tour my expectations were not exceptionally high - I was not expecting to see actual movies being made or to see any stars. This is one of the most historic studios and still remains in its original Hollywood location but very... More

The Paramount Studios tour is by far one of my favourite attractions in LA. The tours are well organised by knowledgable guides who obviously love their jobs. The package (cheaper than universal studios) costs $55 per person for a 2 hour tour. You'll see the sets where famous movies have been shot and learn tricks of the trade. You'll also... More

We had an absolutely terrific time! I want to give a big shout out to our guide, Shane. He was superb. Although we had some technical issues he was very professional and polite. I'm not sure if I believe he has only been doing the job for two weeks. He was quite the pro. The tour was very interesting and... More

This is the one you want to take. Yes, it costs more, but you get so much more! Small groups of six, a catered gourmet lunch, posters, souvenir photo, beverages, and 4.5 hours of fascination! Daniel, our guide, was excellent -- knowledgeable, personable, and very helpful. You get all the behind-the-scenes of this historic studio. Every staff person we met... More

This tour was a blast! We got to be Bobby from Minnesota's first tour at Paramount. He was very insightful and kept the guests intrigued. We got to see lots of props from famous Paramount movies as well as the actual Best Picture Oscars for Braveheart, Forrest Gump, and The Godfather. We also got to see quite a few sets... More

Had a wonderful tour guide named Tyler who truly made it so magical and explained the inside and secrets of Hollywood. So informative with historical Hollywood Motion Pictures, that the kids are now researching how it al began. Wonderful lunch served with champagne and soda for the kids next to bumblebee from transformers!!! Loved it !!!!!

We have done the Warner and Universal Tours. Universal is much more of a ride. Warner Bros. puts you in a large group. At Paramount we were in a gourp of 4 with a tour guide- so the tour is much more personal and interactive. On the warner tour we got to the two broke girls set. On the Paramount... More

This tour was fantastic. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and up to date on everything happening in the studio and the whole industry! It was a whirlwind through the history of Paramount and up to date view of active sets currently in use. Don't miss this!

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
