Fantastic experience with Baily
We did this experience yesterday with our family of 4 and couldn't be happier!!
From the first minute till the last, the experience is first class and amazing. This was our fourth trip to universal in 15 years so we don't go often but not first timers.
The food was very good for breakfast and lunch with options for gluten and dairy free.
The guide, Baily, met us at breakfast and laid out the plan for the day.
Each attraction is an entrance from the back with zero wait time. The tradeoff is that you miss some cool stuff in the lobbies of Greengots and Harry Potter but it's well worth it.
We got 13 rides in for the 7 hours and then fast pass for 2 others after the tour. We hit everything we wanted to do and then some.
We will do again in a few years and hope Baily will still be there.

Great
We had a lot of fun, the park is excellent. It was packed but with the express ticket we were able to play anything we want without the wait.

Fantastic!
Great experience. Happy to see masks were required outdoors and indoors, unlike Disneyland. Went on a Tuesday. Almost no line ups. Went on some rides more than once. Park was clean. Really had a great time.

didn't enjoy it
Nov. 2021
This place is terribly overpriced. It was almost $200 for my daughter and I to get in, and that was with the AAA discount. $15 to toss a basketball! And the tour gives very little insight into how movies are made. Plus, it is very scary. It terrified my eight year daughter. And there is no warning about how scary it would would be, although I should have researched it in advance.

And the mass entertainment is not to my taste.

Just another example of how that the one percent takes advance of the rest of us.

Astonishing tours, rides, shops, everything! For those of you who are single, make sure you use solo line for the rides so you don't have to wait in line!

It was our first time.It was awesome. It was worth for the price. All the rides were amazing. But my favorite was Harry potter ride .There were lot of rides, shows and restaurants to eat and lot of things to watch so you can spend your all day there .We went on a weekday but line was too long for a ride.I love this place .

Harry Potter is the best part of this park!
We mainly went to Universal for Harry Potter and the Studio Tour. HP is outstanding and we loved it! We enjoyed the Studio Tour very much. It was more of a ride than a tour, with some exciting special effects. We went down to the lower lot area, but came right back up again as nothing interested us down there. We did ride the minions ride, which was very jerky, as was the Kungfu Panda ride. The Secret Life of Pets was not worth the 45 minute wait.

Halloween horror night
Oct. 2021 • Family
The scariest things about Halloween horror night at Universal Studios were the price tag and the lines! 90 minutes wait to get into the Texas Chainsaw Massacre attraction - which of course wasn't all that scary..

Bad signage, outdated experiences, boring rides
Oct. 2021
Bad signage, outdated experiences, boring rides.

It's been a while since I had been to Universal. Past experiences had been fun - but this time was miserable. The rides were at best, mediocre, substituting flashing lights and volume for a quality thrill ride.

Signage was almost non-existent and confusing when available. So good luck finding your way around the park.

Skip the studio tour - it's outdated and almost the exact same experience as 20 years ago, with the exception of the beginning and the really weird Fast and Furious end - where the robotic actors were the scariest thing on any ride.

What should be an immersive experience of your favorite movies, is just a bunch of stores ending in a lame ride or two.

So embarrassed I recommended this highly to my guests. All were extremely disappointed. You'll have more fun at a regular theme park w/o the movie tie-ins.

Go to Knots Berry farm instead...or even better, walk Santa Monica pier for some good fun, food and people watching where $110 will go a very long way.
