I've visited the Queen Mary often over the past 10 years. The restaurants are excellent. The rooms are quaint, but a fun experience. They have excellent buffets. I would skip the ghost tour, it's pretty hokey. You can still explore the ship without going on...More

They used Princess Diana as a drawing card, knowing people would respond. The exhibit however has very little to do with her, and very few items. It is a hodgepodge of stuff from many members of the royal family. Mostly, it is bric-a-brac and tons...More

I don't know when renovations will ever be done. I would be careful walking on the decks. They do need refinishing.

We are taking a Princess Cruise which ports in Long Beach for one day. Would it be possible to walk to the Queen Mary from the Long Beach Cruise Ship Terminal?

We are very close to the Long Beach Cruise Terminal by the old Spruce Goose hangar! You can walk, ask for a taxi or an uber or lyft to get you to the Queen Mary for a visit.
