Nestled between Southern California's largest natural lake, Lake Elsinore,...

Nestled between Southern California's largest natural lake, Lake Elsinore, the Ortega Mountains and the Cleveland National Forest, and just minutes from Temecula, the Links at Summerly's stunning par-72, nearly 7,000-yard layout was designed by renowned golf course architect Cal Olson to fit seamlessly into the landscape - incorporating natural mounding, pristine rolling terrain and three miles of Scottish-style burns to provide the look and feel of traditional links-style courses of the British Isles. We also have an excellent restaurant where you can sit back and relax while watching one of our flat screen TV's or looking out at our beautiful view.

This golf course, The Links at Summerly is a great visit. You get to experience the lynx style golf of Scotland without the $5000 price tag, airfare etc. This is a fun but challenging golf course. Make sure you play from the correct set of tees or this course will eat your lunch.

This course has a nice layout which looks like a links course but does not play like one. The greens and areas immediately around them were very lush and soft which did not allow for any run-up shots. The fairways were patchy in a lot of places so playing improved lies was necessary. The back tees are still In place... More

This place is WAY run down, not maintained anything like the pictures they advertise. They could probably blame it on the dry weather and heat except there are some very well maintained courses in the area that are dealing with the same mother nature issues.

Played this course many times over the years, but have never seen it in worse shape. Greens are slow and moist, fairways are horrible. Dry and hard with a lot of dead areas. Took my beginner son, so it wasn't horrible, but if you're looking for a competitive course and are a seasoned golfer, I'd pass until they get the... More

I'm a little annoyed at myself for not reading these reviews before I played this course again. I played this course about 4 or 5 years ago and it was a decent course. I'm not sure what happened to this course but it is a piece of trash Golf Course. The fairways are in terrible shape, you cannot tell where... More

I have played The Links frequently in past years and usually enjoyed it except when playing in temperatures above 90 degrees. The course never had any shade and did not have enough water available on the course to prevent dehydration. Unfortunately the course has gone through very rough times and several owners. The current ones bought the course and closed it... More

Played on 4/10/16 Course is in terrible shape. Looks nothing like the photos would have you think. Black tee boxes don't exist, overgrown with weeds and not maintained at all. Ground under repair on numerous fairways, bare patches of dirt on every fairway. One was shortened to a par 3 because the fairway was in such bad shape. Huge rocks... More

I have played the Links at Summerly course a few times. It seems odd to have a links style golf course in this arid location of Lake Elsinore. Usually links style courses are located near the ocean. Supposedly this course has the same layout as Carnoustie in Scotland but something tells me they have fallen short in their attempt to... More

It's a bit challenging and hot during summertime, it's mainly a desert with easy bunks, wide-ish fariways and fast greens. You can see people parachute down from the nearby airfield

What can one say about a golf course that false advertise. You can warn everone else not to waste their money, thats what you can do. Golfed at this couse Saturday November 10, 2012. The photos on the websight are not even close. The greens are beat, bumpy and have bare dirt patches. The fairways are worse, so many bare... More
