You will be surprised by the quality of pieces from what-appears to be a small museum. Well worth a couple hours of your time!!

Located on Pacific Coast Highway, this director carefully choses his exhibits reflecting living artists as well as historical. The vision of this museum is to stimulate the viewer and inform the viewer of the up and coming art. Many of the pieces exhibited will become more broadly known as this museum is visionary.

Enjoyed this museum. Staff was helpful and courteous. Event for kids to make a lantern was a nice touch. The museum is rather small and feels like they need more works. We were able to get through it in about 30min.

We visited the museum on a day they were transitioning exhibitions and were admitted free of charge. The two major exhibits of coastal scenes by established artists and one on wave photos was outstanding. A small gif shop provided a variety of possible, interesting purchases. There is an elevator available to access the second floor.

Laguna is about art, food and the Pacific Ocean. I was drawn to this museum by the Peter Krasnow exhibit. Krasnow's paintings and sculptures took their own path. Bright colours, sensual and spiritual forms are beautifully curated. This museum set beside the sea and atop a palisade is a perfect site for an exhibit of this and other artist's work. Museum... Nice small museum in the heart of Laguna Beach. Enjoyed my recent visit and experiencing the Peter Krasnow exhibit. Staff was very friendly and admission very inexpensive.

Worth a stop if you're tired of the beach or it's raining, or you want a change of pace. If modern art is your thing, you will be happier with it than otherwise. Some interesting and worthwhile things here, but a lot of nonsense as well. And the museum building itself is not particularly attractive, although the staff is friendly... More

My husband and I brought our baby to the museum and had a wonderful time. We also found the most darling baby book in the gift shop!

This is a very small museum, so I would only go if there was something specific that you wanted to see. There was a Helen Lundeberg showing while we were there and it was very good and I enjoyed her paintings.
