Beautiful location. Lots of great trails for hiking other than just the 'around the lake' . Lots of good picnic areas and fishing too. Easy to find and parking is usually available.

Good exercise. Asphalt trail about 2 3/4 miles with some hills. Good for an after meal walk on a sunny day.

About 3 miles loop, easy walk, paved. A little bit of elevations. Many walkers with kids, can be crowded.

Lafayette Reservoir is perfect for family trips. You can walk around the lake, fish, rent a boat or kayak, or just hang out at picnic areas. Great last minute recreation idea. Paid parking, up to 2 hours last time I checked.
