We have visited Old Town La Quinta-it is small, but charming. Only problem is that they are ALWAYS under construction at some part of it and it disrupts the traffic flow-I guess you would have to call it progress

Great options for restaurants, outdoor dining and shopping. Best pizza in town, local brewery tap room and local coffee shop. Old Town also frequently hosts arts events and music throughout the downtown area. Great mountain views up in the La Quinta Cove.

This is one of the most picturesque spots in Southern California. The mountains are gorgeous and the light throughout the day dances and changes moods. Old Town sits right at the base of the mountains and is great for bike riding, walking and taking in...More

I do love how one reviewer has said that they've lived in Old town since it was built! That shows you how 'old' it is. Not loads to see but it is an attractive area. Not the best selection of shops or restaurants either.

Had heard great things about the old town, but visited during the day and came away disappointed. We weren't there to eat and there wasn't much to see or do - not a great selection of restaurants. I guess it'll be more lively in the...More

We have been living in La Quinta since Old Town was built. It had great potential but even through many iterations it has not met its goal as a downtown place to be. On the plus side it has the BEST pizza and bar food...More

There is a coffe shop, wine bar, and so many good restaurants in this area. Great place to walk around on a Sunday morning for farmers market and many local art events when the weather cools down. Don't forget to check out the ice cream...More

Spent the early evening walking around Old Town La Quinta trying to decide which restaurant to try. Many choices and fun to walk around.

The lighting of the Christmas tree in Old Town will have already happened. Sunday mornings usually has a farmers market in old town but I am sure that won't happen on Christmas morning. I recommend going to the old La Quinta... More
