I saw this listed on a tour, but we were on a road trip. Such a beautiful spot to look over the city. The monument was an amazing tribute to our veterans.

Easy to get to and lovely views of the city. Great place to stop for pictures. Lovely scenic drive on the way up there as well.

Built as a Veteran's War Memorial, this spot can be enjoyed in less than an hour. Great spot for pictures and views. Enjoy the historical aspect as well. There may be an ice cream truck for treats, and there's a porta-potty. Worth the few minutes...More

It doesn’t take long at all. It’s really up to you how long you decide to stay. We were probably there walking around for 45 mins.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites in the La Jolla beach area is less than a mile from Mt. Soledad is probably one of the cheapest and it includes Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Free Internet. Good Luck
